I started playing guitar in the 9th grade
while attending W. P. Davidson High School in my hometown of
Mobile, AL. I borrowed my first guitar, a Yamaha
acoustic classical, from my sister-in-law, Carolyn Plash.
She never got it back.
I didn't start playing AND singing until
later in life, but quickly fell in love with
performing. As my repertoire grew, and as I followed
performers that were friends from church (Northstar
Church in Panama City), I got interested in doing gigs
myself. Things took off quickly and I was booked at
numerous places in Panama City Beach.
I make a conscious effort to incorporate
songs in my set list that cross a broad spectrum of music
including country, rock, blues, with classics & current
songs included. Crowd participation adds to the
enjoyment of those in attendance, and guest appearances are
always a possibility by some of my musical friends.
